MY DRAGON MAY BE SICK
copyright © 2007, Annie and Lisa
If you think your dragon is sick...get your dragon to a qualified reptile vet ASAP!
Reptiles hide illness very well as a survival technique. Therefore, when you notice that your dragon is ill, it may be VERY sick! Dragons go "downhill" rapidly, so you don't want to wait and see if things get better. Things will more than likely get worse! It's always better to be safe than sorry.
Some of the signs that your dragon is having problems that require a trip to the vet:
1. Stronger smelling or runny fecal material.
2. Nasal discharge
3. Sunken eyes
4. Lethargy
5. Loss of appetite
6. Weight loss
7. Wheezing or gasping
8. Twitching
9. Rubbing and scratching....could be mites
10. Odd looking patches on the skin
11. Bloated belly
12. Limb dragging
13. Stiffness
14. Blood anywhere
15. Tissue protruding from the vent
16. Dragon keeps flipping onto its back |
