| Spike and I are very glad you are here to learn from and share with. He is 2 months old here and being a bit stubborn about eating since I brought him home 4 days ago. Only wants crickets. I hope this passes and he is just testing me to see how spoiled he can get. |

Hiya Marie and Spike.....
WECOME to DragonTank!! We're delighted that you found your way here...and you came bearing gifts...a picture of Spike to share with us. He's ADORABLE!!
Baby dragons ARE stubborn about eating other things, but don't get discouraged. Put a "salad" in his enclosure first thing in the morning, and give him his dusted crix in the afternoon or evening. This will usuallyresult in a dragon eating the greens, but it doesn't work with all dragons.
We've got a really cool forum here on DragonTank that you should take some time to visit...it's a treasure trove of information. We call that are the KCS aka Keeper Care Sheets. It's an interesting and even FUN area to visit. All the topics were written BY dragonkeepers FOR dragonkeepers.
You'll find answers to questions you didn't even know you have!!!
Again, WELCOME!!!
Waving and smiling,
Lisa and Annie |

Thanks for the warm welcome! Finding this site has helped to calm my "new dragon jitters". It's amazing how something that doesn't weigh more than a couple toothpicks can have me on pins and needles second-guessing my dragonkeeper skills. It's been 7 years since I've had a baby to care for and the first one was 5 months when I got him and a good eater right away. He lived almost 7 years and I'm not sure what exactly he died from. He showed no signs of distress, but something happened because one morning he had his eyes open when the lights came on, but he was gone.
I read a lot about dragon keeping and your sight confirms that everything I am doing and providing is what I'm supposed to be doing and providing.
We recently moved to Corpus Christi, TX and now I'm going to go in search of a rep. vet to have on file if needed.
Thanks again |

| Just wanted to show some updated pics of Spike and how he has grown in the past few months. He's 7 months old now. He's been running around like crazy all morning showing off. He is so much fun. |
